Students may enter the second year of a CHBE program upon completion of the Engineering Foundation Year (first-year curriculum) or equivalent.
Students with other commitments or other considerations are strongly encouraged to meet with a Department advisor to develop an individualized academic plan for their situation.
Students entering department programs in 2018W and later must complete Term 1 of the third year before entering Term 2 of the third year.
The official program curricula, course descriptions, and complementary courses can be found in the UBC Academic Calendar.
