First-year engineering students are invited to the Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering’s Meet and Greet on Tuesday, March 18th from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time in the CHBE Atrium.
During this event:
- Attend a panel and Q&A with current CHBE students
- Meet CHBE professors
- Learn about CHBE undergraduate programs
- Liquid nitrogen SLUSHIES will be provided!

Are you interested in meaningful hands-on experience in research or industry-sponsored projects? Then the CHBE Research Scholar or CHBE Industrial Scholar streams may be for you.
These unique opportunities, which are integrated into 2nd year CHBE courses, are specifically designed to provide select 2nd year CHBE students the chance to be mentored by either a research supervisor or industry expert. An optional info session about these opportunities will be available during the Meet and Greet.
