The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering is holding a celebration of life for Dr. Norman Epstein (1923-2023) in the CHBE Building Atrium on Friday, October 13th at 5:00 p.m. The program is expected to include:
- Memories and reflections of Dr. Epstein from the CHBE Department
- Announcement of the department’s plans to honor Dr. Epstein
- Open mic session for attendees to speak about Dr. Epstein
We invite you to send any photos, videos, memories, and reflections of Dr. Epstein to christina.carnovale@ubc.ca. These memories may be shared at the event. The Department will continue these efforts in the following months and present the collection to the Epstein family when complete.
