Industrial Technical Presentation: Carbon Engineering

Date: Wednesday, October 16th

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: CHBE 102

The Industrial Technical Presentations are a new series of events designed to introduce students to local disruptive technology companies.

For our first Presentation, students will have the opportunity to hear from Kim Nikolaisen, Principal Process Engineer at Carbon Engineering, a leading local company in the fight against climate change. Carbon Engineering is revolutionizing carbon capture technology through its Direct Air Capture (DAC) system, which removes CO₂ directly from the atmosphere. This cutting-edge technology is helping to combat global warming by providing sustainable solutions for a cleaner future.

Pizza will be provided for those who register!

Whether you’re curious about how different engineering disciplines come together to design cutting-edge solutions or looking to explore career opportunities in sustainability and climate technology, this event is the perfect chance to engage, learn, and ask questions.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with industry leaders and learn how engineers are making a real-world impact on the environment!

We hope to see you there.
