Research interests + projects
My background is in the application of fundamental chemical engineering principles to develop new chemical and electrochemical processes. Projects begin at the small scale and end with the commissioning of commercial plants. Recent examples include the world’s first large-scale lithium chloride and lithium sulphate electrolysis plants for production of battery grade lithium hydroxide, and commercial plants for removal of bromine and carbon dioxide contaminants from liquid chlorine.
I currently serve as chair of the CHBE Industrial Advisory Committee.
