Research interests + projects

My PhD research focused on tissue biomechanics of the stem cell drived in-vitro tissues, also classed neurospheres. My work contributes to the growing field of understanding organoid systems, providing valuable insights into their mechanical behavior under various environmental cues.

I have also worked on a biomaterial-based approach to restore vision in corneal blindness patients. This smart membrane is able to actively regulate oxygen, glucose and ions transport to the cornea, using an external alternating magnetic field.

My PDF research involved an innovative approach to enhance student learning in a biomechaics course. I implemented an Interactive Digital Experience as an Alternative Lab (IDEAL) to enhance student engagement. This initiative involved collecting and analyzing classroom data to understand the correlation between engagement levels and academic performance.
